This week on the University of Nottingham ITE programmes our beginning teachers have been looking at how we can teach effective lessons in a remote learning context. As part of this work they were tasked with exploring a range of different online learning tools which could be used in their teaching. Erin Brady, one of our History PGCE students produced a useful review of 10 different learning apps which can be used to support online teaching, considering what they useful for and whether they are really effective tools. It isn’t an exhaustive list and there are many more useful applications out there. However, we hope it might be useful for colleagues looking to develop their repetoire of online learning tools.
